It’s hard to give an exact quote without receiving a brief first. However, my fees for websites and brochures generally start at £100 per page depending on length, complexity, and the amount of research required.
My day rate falls into line with The Professional Copywriters’ Network’s recommended rates. It varies from £250-400 depending on the type of work. Simple copy-editing is obviously less taxing than creating new copy from scratch and establishing a tone of voice for your brand.
I charge marketing agencies a rate towards the lower end of the spectrum if they’re managing the client and lightening the load.
Although you can hire me ‘on the meter’ most clients prefer the security of a ‘flat fee’. I’ll work this out once we’ve talked about your needs. All quotes include a set of amends so I’ll change my first draft as much as you like without additional charge.
If you’re looking for cheap ‘web content’ (with a fixed price per word) please look elsewhere. Good copywriters say as much as possible in as few words as possible; therefore a ‘per word’ model simply doesn’t work.
